About Chris COSBY



Chris has been practicing physiotherapy since graduating from Western University in 2016 with a Masters in Physical Therapy. After graduating he quickly began furthering his skills through the Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Division obtaining levels 2 and 3 within 1 year. He then pursued an Advanced Practice Degree in Physiotherapy through Western University. Following this he obtained a Clinical Masters Degree in Manipulative and Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. Following this he completed his Fellowship for the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy. All of these credentials he achieved within 3 years of graduating. These advanced educational degrees expanded knowledge and skills on assessing and treating complex conditions. They also taught advanced skills in research methodology which has allowed for systematic application of new research into practice. During his studies he completed research studies on best practice in concussion assessment and management. He has extensive knowledge and experience on treating complex and persistent concussions symptoms and persistent problems of the spine and extremities.

For the last 2 years Chris Has been practicing in the Sea to Sky Corridor (Squamish and Whistler). In this time he has treated a wide variety of professional athletes competing internationally in golf, snowboarding, skiing, skateboarding, whitewater kayaking, tennis, motor-cross, mountain biking, rugby, long distance running and soccer. He also provides services to his fellow Squamish and Whistler residents treating a variety of common and complex conditions. He has particular interest and experience treating conditions of the back and spine, shoulders, hips and knees. He has dedicated his ongoing education to furthering his treatments in these areas.

Chris is an experienced athlete and when he is not working you will find him out kiteboarding, snowboarding, mountain biking or practicing jui jitsu. He previously competed in various types of distance running events in his youth and also rowed competitively. As an athlete who has had his fair share of injuries himself he understands the importance of keeping athletes engaged in their sports during their recovery.

He utilizes a variety of manual therapy techniques including manipulations of the spine and extremities, IMS, Modern dynamic cupping techniques, and various exercises routines he has developed over the years

Mackenzie Kemps

Mackenzie Kemps BSc(H)PT, I am a certified physiotherapist with special interest and training with runners and the foot / ankle complex.

I graduated in 2017 from Brunel University London in the UK with my Bachelors of Science in Physiotherapy degree and immediately jumped into working in the musculoskeletal world.
